In order to internalize your material, you should do periodic reviews spread over a large period of time and you should try to quiz yourself to make sure you understand what you are studying. Reading over your notes or watching a video isn't enough and won't replace actual practice.

Studying a little bit every day is better than cramming for long periods of time before exams or finals. Learning to manage your time and fighting procrastination are very important skills you should master in order to make the most out of college without wasting time studying inefficiently.
